The Tent

Out of its covering
it springs with ease.
Standing in form,
looking to please.

Pegs placed at corners
to hold it down.
Done in an instant
that others do frown.

After a week
decided to leave.
Thought it so easy
gosh, so naïve!

Clasping together
over then through.
Following instructions
they said to do.

Twisting and turning
all gathered together.
Suddenly bursts open
all over the heather.

One of them holding
the other sits on.
While wrapping in string
until it is done.

Too big for its bag
it once fitted in.
But they are just happy
the fight then to win.
